Warrada's Ring
By Mushroom Mistress
Region: Core
Type: Relic
Expansion: Nightmare's Dawn
Review:
Warrada's Ring can be a great energy-saver, or it can help you get that card you need. Warrada's Ring is great for a Core deck that does not produce much energy as it does not cost anything to play, and the effect, Phenomenal Cosmic Power, is free. Phemonenal Cosmic Power lets you either draw an additional card at the end of your turn, or play all your Core cards for 1 less enegery (to a minimum of 1) during your turn. This is great if you have that one creature that you absolutely want to play, but it is just 1 energy more than your can or want to spend. If you have enough energy, use Phenomenal Cosmic Power to draw an extra card at the end of your turn, especially if you need a card you have not drawn yet. Since Phemonenal Cosmic Power lets you play all your Core cards for 1 less energy, is is best utilized in a mono-Core deck. Also, to get the most energy-saving value, use the energy-saving option in combination with Warrada's effect, Dark Blooming, which give Warrada 5 energy if Warrada has no creatures in play at the beginning of your turn. This combination works best on Warrada's first turn since she will have no creatures in play, and if you include Warrada's Ring in your deck, it will be available immediately since it is now one of Warrada's starting cards.Rating:
