Granite Parmalag
by McCool
Energy:
With 8 energy Granite Parmalag is an average Kybar creature but since it is
most commonly played in Underneath decks it is one of the largest in the Underneath
arsenal therefor making it hard, but not impossible, for Underneath magi to
play the large creature.
Region:
Being a Kybars Teeth creature is the largest disadvantage for this creature.
Since Underneath magi have to pay one additional energy(Save for Prek) to play
Granite Parmalag they are hard pressed to play any other creatures after that.
Effect - Rock Solid: All of your Parmalags
in play lose one less energy in attacks.
This effect is what makes it playable in a lot of Kybars Teeth decks.
With the introduction of Radget and another Parmalag(Crystal Parmalag) you can
have a total of 12 Parmalag in your deck. This means that you have a 25% chance
of drawing out a Parmalag there for making Granite Parmalag, Radget and other
Parmalag based cards a lot more useful.
Effect - Invulnerability: Granite Parmalag loses one less energy in attacks.
This power is what makes Granite so flexible. Even without any other Parmalags
in play Granite Parmalag can be a very useful offensive or defensive card. With
this effect Granite Parmalag will lose two less energy(Including Rock Solid)
in attacks making him a 8 energy creature with a permeant Agrams Armor.
This also makes it so you can take more advantage of Tragns effect
making Granite Parmalag a deadly machine.
Overview
Granite Parmalag is a large Kybars Teeth creature who is often played
in Underneath deck because of its boost to Parmalags, because of this
it is a hard creature to play for Underneath since it cost 9 thought that doesnt
seem to stop people from playing them.
